HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)

What is HIFU?

is a non-invasive therapeutic technique that uses non-ionizing ultrasonic waves to heat tissue. HIFU canbe used to increase the flow of blood or lymph, or to destroy tissue, such as tumors, through a number of mechanisms.

Is the treatment painful?

The majority of people only need one or two treatments. Depending on the degree of lifting andtightening required, touch-up treatments to be performed in 9-12 months.

Aftercare advice

Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanning. Sun burned or tanned skin will not be treated. All skinirritants must be stopped (glycolic/ salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol products such as Retin A,Tazorac, Triluma, Differin, and Vitamin C on the area being treated.

My first job was in the 5 star salon at Harrods, then onto Selfridges day spa, and as a manager / therapist in the 5 star Brown's hotel spa in Mayfair. After five years working for others, I then opened my own luxury day spa/clinic in Curzon Street, Mayfair London, which I had for 15 years. I'm now based in Liverpool and have opened another beautiful clinic in Woolton Village.

I offer a very high standard of services and have kept up to date in the latest treatments and brands. I specialise in the latest skin boosters and polynucleotide treatments which work fantastically for the face, neck, under eyes, décolletage, hands, and other areas of the body. I work very naturally with clients who’s age group is around 40+. My clinic is very private, exclusive, and luxurious and I can offer bespoke treatments that are perfectly suited to your skin's needs.
